FAQ

Why are there different rates for schools and districts on non-school days?

Each school district and MITCH have a different amount of non-school days. Tigard-Tualatin and Lake Oswego School Districts have less days than MITCH Charter School. Each day there are two camp sessions and parents may sign their child up for one or both sessions.

What happens between classes when there are non-school day camps?

Students will have lunch and recess from 12:30-1:30 in our Discovery Lab. This allows students who choose both camp times to have a break between camps. It also allows students to be checked in and checked out of camps. This will be located on our family portal (Procare) so families can view it in real-time. This also allows for students to be dismissed and released to parents after the morning session and for students to arrive and be checked in for the afternoon session.

Does my child need their own computer or iPad for Animation and Illustration classes?

Yes, it is similar to buying or renting an instrument for band. Art students should have their own tools for learning that they can take home and practice their skills.

What schools have bus transportation?

Bridgeport Elementary is the only school that offers bus transportation to our building each day. Please designate on the registration form if you need this option.

What other transportation methods do you have?

Parents often use carpool and ride-share within family groups to help ease the strain of transportation. If you would like to be in contact with any of these groups please let our office know at info@youthcreativelabs.com
